Achievers - National Youth Empowerment & Vocational Skills Development Program - (Regional Level : Sub Program 04)

The Purpose of this ‘Regional Level Social Welfare Program’ is to create skillful and eligible man power. India is one of the youngest nations in the world with more than 62% of its population in the working-age group (15-59 years), and more than 54% of it is total population below 25 years of age. This presents a formidable opportunity as well as a huge challenge. Every year, out of 15 million youth entering the job market, over 75% are not job-ready. This stark difference is due to a lack of technical and soft skills. The paucity of a highly trained workforce, as well as the non-employability of large sections of the conventionally educated youth, who possess limited job skills, are the dual challenges to be addressed to reap the demographic dividend. The Purpose of this ‘Regional Level Skill Development Program’ is to build an inclusive, enabled and skilled society by skilling youth and providing employment opportunities in identified core sectors including Retail, Automobile, Hospitality, Health Care, Building and Construction, Telecom and Beauty & Wellness to name a few. Skill development is a vital tool to empower people, to safeguard their future and for the overall development of an individual. It is an important aspect that enhances employability in today's globalization. Skills are as essential as one's academic status. Education and skills should now go hand in hand. We are running this “Achievers - National Youth Empowerment & Vocational Skill Development Program” in all the Schools, High-Schools, Colleges and Localities at ‘Regional Level’ under the ‘National Social Welfare Mission’ called as “Mission Vande Mataram – National Social Welfare Mission”. This ‘Regional Level Social Welfare Program’ is conducted by ‘State Project Execution and Management Board’ established at ‘State Level’.This ‘Regional Level Social Welfare Program’ is executed and managed through ‘Achievers - National Youth Empowerment & Vocational Skill Development Board’ established at ‘Regional Level’ that consist of students studying in that particular Schools, High-Schools, Colleges and Localities in that particular ‘Regional Zone’.
